Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan said such a question does not arise as the Government was still giving a subsidy of 12 sen a litre for RON95.
"Last year, the Government subsidised 24 sen for every one litre of the RON95 fuel.
"Now with the decrease in global crude oil prices, the subsidy is 12 sen as of October this year.
"Therefore, the question does not arise yet as we are still subsidising every litre," he said when winding up points raised during the Budget 2015 debate in the Dewan Rakyat.
